Tired of Choosing Between Spreadsheets and Surveillance?
Simple tools to track your spending, manage BNPL payments, and actually understand your budget.
The Spreadsheet Trap
The Privacy Trade-Off
The BNPL Black Hole
Using Afterpay, Klarna, or Affirm? Those payments hit your budget across multiple months - and no app tracks them properly.
Pay in 4? See all 4.
Split a purchase into four and most budget apps show you the first payment. The other three land over the next months, unplanned, and quietly wreck the budget you thought you had.
Budgetpeer treats it as what it is: money you owe. Enter the purchase once - total, number of installments, first due date - and every future payment shows up on the date it's actually due. Your budget reflects what you owe, not just what you've paid so far.
Every plan, one number
All your installments in one place, so "how much do I owe in October" has an answer.
Reminded before it's due
A notification 7 days and 1 day before each installment.
Any provider
Afterpay, Klarna, Affirm, PayPal Pay in 4, Zip, Sezzle, or the one that launched last week. You type in the details - Budgetpeer never connects to the provider.
Everything You Need.
Nothing You Don't.
Here's the full list of who sees your data: you.
Budgetpeer is independent and has no investors, so nobody is under pressure to grow at any cost - and nobody has a reason to sell what you enter.
Free is free. Not a trial.

Questions people actually ask.
Privacy and your data
Do I have to connect my bank?
No. Budgetpeer never asks for bank credentials and connects to no financial institution. You enter what you want to track, and that is all it knows.
So how does Budgetpeer make money?
You pay for it. There are no ads, no analytics software and no advertising software in the app, and your financial data is never sold, shared or used to train anything.
Can I get my data out, or delete it?
Both, from inside the app, any time. Export everything as CSV, or delete your account and all its data outright. No email to support, no waiting.
Free plan and pricing
Is the free version actually usable, or is it a nag screen?
Usable. Every feature is included: 20 transactions a month, one budget, two BNPL plans, one tracking account and one category spending limit. Only the quantities are capped, and it never expires.
What happens when I hit a free limit?
You will see a notice at that point. Upgrading to Pro lifts the cap. Nothing you have entered goes anywhere.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Subscriptions and refunds are handled by Apple. Cancel in your Apple ID settings; request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so there is nothing to cancel.
Buy Now Pay Later
Which Buy Now Pay Later services work?
All of them. Budgetpeer doesn’t connect to any provider. You enter the purchase, the number of installments and the first due date, and it schedules the rest.
Do installments eat into my free transaction limit?
No. Future installments generated from a BNPL plan don’t count toward the 20 transactions a month on the free plan.
Devices and switching
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone, today. iPad and Mac are next, on the same account and the same data.
What if I switch phones or reinstall?
Sign in on the new device and everything comes back. Nothing is lost by deleting the app.
Can I bring my spreadsheet with me?
Yes. Import your transaction history from a CSV file, which is free on every plan, including the free one.
